And you will also have the opportunity to undertake an optional one-year, full-time work placement between years two and three that will help you to relate your studies to the workplace and extend your network of contacts - getting first-hand experience in the world of work.

This module will introduce you to the function, principles, and techniques of financial management. In particular, it will focus on the relationship between companies seeking to raise finance, and the investors who provide that finance.
Taxation Principles
You will develop a curiosity to understand and critique the impact of this evolving taxation environment. The knowledge gained can be used for a career in practice, industry, or for your own personal tax affairs.
Management Accounting
This module will focus on the accounting concepts and techniques relevant to the provision of management information for planning, control, and performance evaluation purposes.
The UK Financial System
This module is concerned with the analysis of financial institutions and markets in the UK, which are crucially important for the operation of a successful modern economy.

Audit Principles
Through this module, you will become familiar with the methodologies required through the audit process and learn how to draft an audit report.
Capital Market Trading
Understand money and the markets in our globalized economy. Explore the language of finance; test and observe diverse investment strategies, and learn how key information can dramatically affect share prices.

The International Financial System
This module investigates the international financial system. Including; how banks really work, how to manage the economy, how countries should relate to each other, and how developing countries can successfully develop.
Advanced Management Accounting
This module will provide you with a wide range of techniques to enable you as a future manager to make quality decisions.
Corporate Financial Management
This module focuses on a stock exchange quoted company and how corporate finance theories and practices can enhance performance. It takes an integrated view of how financing and investment decisions contribute to shareholders’ wealth creation.
Advanced Financial Reporting
Through this module, you will evaluate current financial reporting practices and information produced by listed companies, including groups.

International Financial Reporting and Analysis
Keep up to date with financial reporting practices in an ever-changing global environment. Explore contrasts between regional accounting styles, and investigate challenges in business performance analysis across national boundaries.
Current Audit Issues
This module will explore the expectations placed on the auditor and consider whether they have failed in some cases.
Taxation Practice
Through this module, you will develop advanced practical tax planning skills. The focus will be on the interaction of the various taxes to provide tax planning solutions.
Ecological Economics
This module will consider the existing scientific understanding of climate change and other areas in this topic and the actions taken so far. It will also review and aim to understand the economics behind these actions.

Applicants who do not have English as their first language will be required to demonstrate an approved level of proficiency in the use of the English language. The agreed minimum requirements for this course are:
IELTS minimum 6.0 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each individual component
TOEFL IBT minimum 80 with a minimum of 20 in each individual component
Duolingo English Language Test - 100 overall with a minimum of 90 in each component
or equivalent.
